Update 22nd July 2021 - Record Number of Box Possums

On a couple of occasions recently, four possum boxes have been occupied simultaneously. Not only that, but all of the possums are females with pouch babies, so there were actually a total of eight possums in the boxes. This would have to be a record.

Baby Possum Alert

Despite its small size and the relatively cold temperatures, Sasha's latest baby (her 13^th) is now venturing out of her pouch when in the nestbox. So now is the time for a Baby Possum Alert.

Sasha can normally be seen in box 1 or 7, but occasionally uses box 2.

By the way, if anyone is having difficulty with the streaming video not displaying when trying to view the boxes, please let me know, either by email or by posting a comment on this blog. There is an issue with how some recent browsers work in some situations that causes them to block streaming. I am looking at a permanent solution to this, but there are things I can do temporarily to get it working if people are having problems now. 

Update 2nd July 2021 - Expecting a Possum Baby Boom

It has been longer than usual since my previous update, but at least no dramatic events have happened in the interim. All of the possums are still visiting and healthy.

Walt has become a regular visitor.
