Miel has long ago stopped back-riding and no longer shares a nestbox with Sasha.

Koru continues to visit on her own. She is very brave for such a tiny little possum. The photo probably makes her look bigger than she is; she could be held in a cupped pair of hands (although if you attempted to do this you'd probably get scratched and bitten).

Update 14th Aug 2019 - Introducing Miel

Sasha's new baby in now back-riding full time. He (I am pretty sure he is a little boy possum) has been named Miel.

Miel (French for honey) is honey coloured and looks like a sweet little possum.

Update 5th July 2019 - Baby Possums!

Sasha's baby (her 9^th) has just started coming out of her pouch in the nestbox, so now is the time for a Baby Possum Alert.

As a bonus, Nikita has also brought one of her new babies to the house for the first time.

Things are fairly stable at the moment, at least as far as the known possums are concerned.

Update 8th March 2019

Nikita and her babies Ryder and Rune are in good health and are visiting frequently.

Ryder and Rune both appear to be little girl possums.

Sasha has finally brought her latest baby to show the humans. This her 8^th (known) baby and it looks like another boy possum. He has been named Zak.

Nikita is visiting regularly. She seems to have inherited Koji's nature; she is extremely trusting towards humans and careful not to scratch when taking food from them. She currently has a couple of growing babies in her pouch and doesn't even mind if humans touch her pouch.

Update 14th Nov 2018

First of all, apologies for the Possum TV site being unavailable recently. From the 24^th of October until the 10^th of November there were Cable Internet issues, seeming related to the cable network being transferred from Telstra's ownership to the NBN. Full transition to the NBN is scheduled to happen in the second quarter of next year, so it is possible there could be ongoing problems up to (and most likely beyond) that date, although currently the Internet is OK as I write this.

Now to possum news: Pogo is still around. He avoids Sasha altogether because she now chases him off on sight.

Update 25th Aug 2018 - Naming of the new possums

It turns out Zoë does indeed have two babies. These have been named Leto and Ghani. I think (but am by no means sure) that both are male. Leto has the longer white tip on his tail (about a third of its length) and Ghani the shorter (less than a quarter).
