Update 28th Feb 2016

Recently, Wasabi and Ruby brought their babies (who have been named Maple and Clover) to the house.

Maple rode on Ruby's back, but Clover stayed in a nearby tree, making faces at the other possums.

Flynn has visited a couple of times on his own. He has inherited his parents' toe-biting habit. Recently, one of his back claws was injured, with the nail apparently torn right out.  Fortunately it doesn't seem to be affecting him. I expect a new nail will grown back, like it did with Marlon in 2012.

Finally, a silly photo of Farley. The staining on his teeth is normal and I believe comes from the foliage he eats.

Awesome photo... How lucky they are to live in such an amazing environment.

  3. So envious of your stunning ringtail babies. Maple is a perfect name for possums that colour. Great photos :)
