Viewers will have noticed a female ringtail with two babies in Box 2. This is the same ringtail mentioned in the last blog entry. She had been named Sienna and her babies Oola and Omni. There is no way of telling which baby is which at this stage, but they deserve to have names. The babies are not yet back-riding.

Bisou seems to have moved away. First she didn't visit on one night, then later was absent two nights in a row and now she hasn't seen seen for over a week. This is the usual sequence of events when an independent youngster moves away from home. As a female possum, she should have a territory nearby and may come back to visit later, like Sprout did.
Bisou has some staining around her pouch, which means she could already have a baby in there.

Sprout has been visiting on and off and occasionally sleeping in Box 1. Although Box 1 is relatively close to the house, sometimes she hasn't visited the house when sleeping in this box. It's possible that because Blossom has a back-riding baby, she is extra-keen to keep Sprout and Bisou away.

Gandalf is still around and often visits at the same time as Blossom and Leif. It's possible he's Leif's father and is looking out for both of them. The weather is getting warmer and there could be pythons around, so an extra set of eyes might be welcome. There are no recent photos of Gandalf.
Merlin the brush turkey is still around and maintaining his nest. A few other birds have also decided to visit.
Recently a magpie and a noisy miner visited side-by-side. These are hardly rare birds, but this is the first time a magpie has visited - usually it's butcher birds and currawongs - and also these two birds somehow seem to be friends, because I had earlier seen them side-by-side on a neighbour's fence.
Immediately after this pair visited, they were followed by a sulphur-crested cockatoo and several rainbow lorikeets. I tried to get a photo, but it's not very good. It doesn't show the colours very well and everyone flew off after the first photo.
